Job Title: Fund Services Team Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our Fund Services Team. As a key member of the team, you will play a critical role in overseeing fund accounting and tax services operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a team of fund and tax accountants, providing training, mentoring, and ongoing feedback to ensure continual professional growth and career development.\
  • Ongoing stakeholder relationship management, involving regular interaction with clients, brokers, custodians, auditors, and offshore service centers.\
  • Partner with sales and business development teams to facilitate revenue growth.\
  • Maintain a fluid and efficient client onboarding process with attention to detail and service excellence.\
  • Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting, statutory reporting, and variance analysis.\
  • Oversee daily deliverables, ensuring compliance with Fund Accounting requirements.\
  • Implement business process re-engineering for risk mitigation, enhanced operational efficiencies, system implementations, fund launches, and product development.\

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a similar role with expertise in fund accounting and tax services.\
  • In-depth knowledge of Australian accounting standards and taxation affecting asset owner and manager products.\
  • Success in leading and developing a team.\
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with ability to build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.\
  • Familiarity with various asset classes, including equities, fixed income, managed funds, and unlisted securities.\
  • Ability to research and analyze legislative changes, updating policy documents, checklists, templates, and procedures.\
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.\
  • Tertiary qualifications in Accounting or relevant field, with CA/CPA qualification an advantage.\
