Job Title:

Candy Operator Packer sought by a leading manufacturer to join our team of skilled production professionals.

About the Job:

  • Operate machine, supply candy and material as necessary; continuously observe operation for proper wrapping.
  • Perform various operating, feeding, filling, forming, and closing operations necessary for packaging candy products.
  • Ensure proper feeding of material and maintain wrapping feed during process.
  • Perform minor machine lubrication.
  • Form boxes or cartons to catch output directly from wrapping machine.
  • Manually feed product through wrapping machine as required.
  • Conduct continuous inspection of wrapped product; discard substandard product and sort reusable items during downtime.
  • Pack shipping cartons and load filled boxes into cartons.

Requirements:

  • Must possess ability to read, write and comprehend oral instructions.
  • Previous production experience in a factory setting.
  • Experience in food production preferred.
