The Procurement Leader leads the procurement function and third party supplier spend across our organisation. This role requires strong leadership, coaching skills to lead a diverse procurement team, and a deep understanding of the procurement life-cycle.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the procurement team including resource management, stakeholder engagement, and priority setting
  • Mentor, coach, and develop procurement resources
  • Develop a comprehensive procurement strategy that includes opportunity assessment, governance requirements, and capability review
  • Implement the procurement policy to ensure efficient, effective, and ethical processes
  • Conduct strategic sourcing projects such as supplier tenders and negotiations
  • Develop strategic supplier relationships that enhance value, improve compliance, and deliver ESG initiatives

Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience in a leadership role within procurement, driving results in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong experience in leading procurement teams and fostering a positive culture
  • Strategic analysis skills and ability to transform procurement functions
  • Demonstrated experience in all aspects of procurement including strategic sourcing, category management, and internal compliance
  • Experience in project management, resource management, and delivering results in a matrix management environment
  • Strong stakeholder management skills across all levels of the organisation
