IT Governance Specialist

A dynamic and results-driven IT Audit Manager is required to lead a full range of assurance projects, encompassing planning, testing, reviewing, and reporting stages on large and complex client engagements.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering reviews covering identity and access management, security management, IT governance, emerging technology risks, IT compliance, business intelligence, BCP, and DRP, and IT alignment to business strategy.
This role will entail equipping clients with accurate information to inform their decisions by establishing the right controls, processes, and structures.
Key responsibilities will include optimising technology control activities, technology and operational strategy, and policies and procedures.
The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, as they will be leading and contributing to large and small-scale projects throughout the year.
Working closely with teams to develop their skills and foster personal and professional growth is essential in this role.
Required Skills and QualificationsThe successful candidate will have a strong background in financial services, technology risk, and controls environments, including IT general controls, testing of automated IT dependent controls, and experience in internal audit, advisory, and/or third-party assurance engagements.
Strong appreciation of the complexities and challenges that organisations face around the use of existing and emerging technology is crucial in this role.
The ideal candidate will be passionate about being at the forefront of change, ready to help the Digital Audit team transform how risk is perceived and capitalised on.
Collaboration, problem-solving, and a willingness to work in an innovative environment are key qualities required for this role.
