In your new role as Senior Building Consultant, you'll conduct forensic building inspections to ensure contractors complete rectification works to a compliant standard and cost.

You'll be responsible for administering the full scope of works, causation reports, and ensuring the quality of work.

Your key accountabilities include:

  • Accurate and detailed recording of data whilst on site
  • Providing customer service to all parties with an interest in the job
  • Preparation of reports and scope of works to client
  • Compliance to client and internal claim handling requirements and timeframes
  • Compiling and formatting forensic building reports and scopes of work
  • Project management as required

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • Cert III Carpentry or Cert IV Building & Construction or Licensed Builder
  • Knowledge of the insurance industry and process requirements of admin hearings and litigation
  • Ability to put the customer and client at the centre of service delivery
