Job Title: Building Automation Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Building Automation Specialist to join our team. As a Building Automation Specialist, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional service and support to our clients in the building automation and energy management sector.

Your primary role will be to ensure that our clients receive optimal performance from their building automation systems. This will involve carrying out scheduled maintenance and updates, configuring and programming of BMS/HVAC control systems, and providing technical support and commissioning reports as required.

In addition to your technical expertise, you will also be responsible for liaising with clients recommending upgrades, integration and building efficiency solutions. You will also need to investigate and diagnose faults, provide accurate service reports, and respond to client service requests.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have extensive knowledge and understanding of IP related protocols, networking and communications. You should also have strong knowledge of Controls Protocols including BACnet and Modbus, and be able to read wiring diagrams, mechanical drawings, standards and plant operating instructions.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in programming and commissioning BMS/HVAC systems
  • Extensive knowledge and understanding of IP related protocols, networking and communications
  • Strong knowledge of Controls Protocols including BACnet and Modbus
  • Ability to read wiring diagrams, mechanical drawings, standards and plant operating instructions
  • Restricted Electrical Licence
  • Current Australian Drivers Licence
