About the RoleThis is an exciting new opportunity to specialise in dementia-specific services and collaborate with clinical leaders and multidisciplinary teams across our aged care facilities.
- Empower individuals and families with insights into the impact of dementia
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to understand residents' experiences and needs
- Develop tailored treatment plans based on assessments and individualised care
- Deliver recommendations that cater to residents' unique needs
- Provide strategies and coaching to prevent and manage dementia-related behaviour changes
- Facilitate engaging training sessions
We seek an experienced Occupational Therapist who possesses the following skills and qualifications:
- Minimum two years' experience
- Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- AHPRA registration
- Understanding of Aged Care Quality Standards
- NDIS Check (includes Police Check)
- Eligibility to work in Australia
- Valid Victorian Driver's Licence and vehicle
