The Position:
We are currently seeking a skilled Bus Body Technician to join our team at the Dandenong Workshop.
As a key member of our workshop team, you will be responsible for performing daily heavy vehicle repairs to ensure our buses are well-presented, safe, and roadworthy.
Main Responsibilities:
- Conduct repairs on various vehicles in a cost-effective manner
- Assess and plan jobs to meet safety and quality standards
- Perform fibreglass repairs and manufacturer replacement bus panels and body structural components
- Apply body decals and complete work orders
Requirements:
- Cert III Body Building or Panel Beater qualification
- Experience in smash repairing, body building, and panel beating (heavy vehicle experience highly regarded)
- Excellent planning and organisational skills
- Current Drivers Licence (MR or higher licence desirable)
- Team player with excellent communication skills
