The Role:
We are seeking a skilled Body Repair Specialist to join our team at the Dandenong Workshop. As a Body Repair Specialist, you will be responsible for undertaking day-to-day heavy vehicle repairs to ensure our buses are safe, roadworthy, and well-presented.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct repairs of various vehicles and ensure they are maintained in a safe and workable condition in a cost-effective manner.
- Assess and plan jobs to ensure efficient use of resources.
- Conduct fibreglass repairs and manufacturer replacement bus panels and body structural components.
- Apply body decals and complete work orders, including written vehicle reports.
Requirements:
- Cert III Body Building or Panel Beater qualification.
- Experience in smash repairing, body building, and panel beating, with a strong preference for heavy vehicle experience.
- Excellent planning and organisational skills.
- Current Driver's Licence (MR or higher licence desirable).
- Ability to work as part of a team and excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
