To achieve this, we need a strategic leader who can design, implement, and lead enterprise-wide data strategies that align with our organizational goals.

Job Summary">

This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional to join our team as a key member of the Data Governance Council. You will be responsible for developing and leading our data strategy, chairing the Data Governance Council, and partnering with business units to promote a data-literate culture.

As a trusted advisor, you will provide expertise in data governance, analytics, and visualization to drive business outcomes. Your ability to communicate complex ideas effectively, build trust, and collaborate cross-functionally will be essential in embedding governance into our daily operations.

Responsibilities">
  1. Develop and lead our enterprise-wide data strategy aligned to strategic and operational goals.
  2. Chair the Data Governance Council and lead engagement regarding data across all data domain leaders.
  3. Establish an organisational-wide strategy for analytics, data visualisation, and insights that will be implemented by distributed analytics teams across the business.
  4. Accelerate our data culture by defining and building trust in the 'metrics that matter' for our 2030 strategy.
  5. Drive the evolution of data and information culture within our organisation by championing Data Literacy and maturity.
  6. Partner with all business functions where data and information is a core competitive advantage to promote our strategy.
  7. Data Governance:
    1. Define and implement data ownership, stewardship, and accountability structures.
    2. Align governance practices with data strategies and integrate them into platform, analytics, and master data initiatives.
    3. Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and mitigate data risks.
    4. Promote accountability for data assets across their lifecycle and prepare for audits and regulatory compliance.
    5. Create communication plans and training programs to embed governance into daily operations and build a data-literate culture.
  8. Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in leading enterprise-wide data strategies, governance frameworks, and analytics initiatives.
  • Strong understanding of data governance principles including data ownership, stewardship, compliance, and risk mitigation.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive adoption of data policies and embed governance into business operations.
  • Previous expertise in data visualization, storytelling, and advanced analytics to influence decision-making.
  • Experience with scalable infrastructure, data platforms, and machine learning solutions.
  • Familiarity with data privacy regulations such as GDPR and CCPA, and experience preparing for audits and regulatory compliance.
  • Ability to collaborate across business units, engineering, legal, and compliance teams to align data strategies.
  • Excellent communication and change management skills to promote a data-literate culture.
