Principal Attorney: Renewable Energy Assets

The role of Senior Legal Counsel: Energy requires a professional with expertise in energy projects, renewables and electricity law. Partnering with senior leadership and the wider team is essential to navigating complex legal and regulatory issues.
Advising on energy law, including compliance with relevant regulatory frameworks, is critical to this position. Drafting and negotiating key commercial agreements, such as EPC, O&M, PPA and project financing contracts, are also key responsibilities.
Supporting project development, acquisitions and joint ventures across solar, battery and hybrid energy projects is vital to the success of this role.
Required Skills and Qualifications- 7+ years PQE with expertise in electricity, energy projects and renewables.
- Experience in drafting and negotiating project, infrastructure or energy contracts.
- Commercially astute with the ability to balance legal risk and business objectives.
- Confident working autonomously while collaborating closely with internal stakeholders.
