
Aged Care Leader

This is a leadership role that focuses on delivering quality resident-focused care in an aged care setting. The Care Coordinator will lead their team of care and nursing staff, supported by an experienced management team.
The successful candidate will have strong leadership skills, previous supervisory experience as a Registered Nurse, and the ability to motivate staff to achieve organisational goals.
They will be responsible for collaborating with senior management, working in consultation with residents and their families, and ensuring effective and collaborative working arrangements with visiting medical practitioners and other allied health professionals.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with Senior Manager Clinical Services and Residential Services Manager to provide quality clinical care and services to all residents.
- Work in consultation with residents and their families in the planning, delivery and evaluation of the clinical care provided.
- Deliver professional standards of contemporary best practice nursing and care services at allocated residential aged care homes.
- Ensure effective and collaborative working arrangements with visiting medical practitioners and other allied health professionals.
- Outstanding leadership skills and ability to motivate staff to achieve organisational goals.
- Previous supervisory experience as a Registered Nurse.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with staff and residents.
- Ability to logically prioritise varying work demands.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Understanding of ageing process and commitment to caring for older people.
- At least 3 years' experience as a registered nurse.
- Registration with AHPRA.
