**Aged Care Assistant Role**

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Aged Care Assistant to join our team at Coolamon Villa in Mullumbimby. This is a permanent part-time or casual opportunity that offers a range of benefits and the chance to make a real difference in the lives of our residents.

The successful applicant will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to our elderly residents, including assisting with personal care, day-to-day tasks, and social activities. They will work closely with clinical staff to ensure that our residents' care plans are followed and that their health and well-being are optimised.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A genuine passion for providing high-quality care to the elderly
  • Great communication and teamwork skills
  • Flexibility and the ability to adapt to change
  • A Certificate 3 in Aged Care (or willing to do fee-free training with us to obtain)

You will also need to have a COVID vaccination and an NDIS check (or be willing to obtain one).

We offer a supportive and inclusive work environment, great salary packaging opportunities, and free training towards Cert III in Individual Support if required. The permanent shifts available are 14.30 - 22.30, 15.00 - 21.00, and 22.30 - 07.00, with the opportunity to pick up casual shifts to cover sick leave and annual leave.
