Overview

At Infinite Aged Care, Hospitality Assistants support residents' daily needs. Reporting to the Head Chef, you will be part of the Hotel Services team, performing food preparation and service, in-room service, and maintaining dining areas for service.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare, plate and serve meals to residents.
  • Clean kitchen and dining room areas and related equipment.
  • Maintain high safety and hygiene standards.
  • Support residents in dining areas to ensure a pleasant mealtime experience.

This is a physical role requiring bending, squatting, lifting and pushing tasks. You must perform these tasks safely for yourself, colleagues and residents.

About You / Qualifications
  • 6 months kitchen experience, preferably in the aged care sector.
  • Strong safety awareness and ability to follow procedures; good communication skills.
  • Ability to problem solve, work with limited supervision and think on your feet.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; reliable and flexible with shift availability.
  • Genuine care and compassion during mealtimes.
