Visionary Leader for Transition Board Role

The Adelaide University Student Association is a new entity, formed through the merger of two existing associations.
A transition board is being established to oversee this process and guide the new association in its vision and future activities.
Candidates with expertise in finance, legal, risk, and governance are sought.
Non-executive directors with experience in strategic planning and governance are encouraged to apply.
High level communication, advocacy, and stakeholder management abilities are essential.
Relevant qualifications and experience in large and complex organisations undergoing significant change will be highly regarded.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic leadership and governance to the AUSA Transition Board
- Guide the entity in fulfilling its vision and ensuring effective oversight of its future activities and services
- Ensure the warmth, empathy, integrity, pragmatism, and credibility necessary to inspire others to follow and contribute
- Finance: Chartered Accountant or equivalent experience
- Legal, Risk, and Governance: relevant qualifications and experience
- Strategic Planning and Governance: experience as a non-executive director
