Wellbeing Professional, Student Support

Join a multidisciplinary team as a specialist wellbeing professional. Provide therapeutic support to students with mild-to-moderate mental health concerns.

Responsibilities:
  • Assess the mental health needs of students and provide appropriate interventions.
  • Deliver individual and group interventions that address mental health concerns.
  • Collaborate with school leadership and student support teams to inform student support planning.
  • Develop referral and case management processes to support delivery of the service.
  • Coordinate referrals to external agencies and work collaboratively with networks and stakeholders.
  • Provide advice and assistance to families in supporting the mental health of students.
  • Support school communities in responding to critical incidents and emergencies.
About the Cluster:

The Balonne Cluster comprises 7 schools situated within the Darling Downs South West Region of Queensland.

The cluster has a diverse range of schools, including primary and secondary institutions, offering education from Prep to year 10.
