About Our Role

Our organization has established a Wellbeing Workforce initiative to support students in Queensland state schools.

This effort ensures every student has access to wellbeing support at school, addressing mental health concerns and promoting overall wellbeing.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Assess students' mental health needs to inform appropriate therapeutic interventions
  • Deliver individual and group interventions addressing mental health concerns
  • Collaborate with schools' leadership and student support teams for informed student support planning and advice on mental health in the classroom
  • Develop referral and case management processes for service delivery
  • Coordinate referrals to external agencies, working with networks and stakeholders for accessible supports
  • Provide advice and assistance to families supporting students' mental health
  • Support school communities responding to critical incidents and emergencies within the school response team
