Lead Culinary Team Member

We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Lead Culinary Team Member to join our dynamic kitchen team. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Chef de Partie to take pride in creating exceptional dishes across multiple venues.

The ideal candidate will be a key member of the kitchen, ensuring smooth service and maintaining the highest culinary standards. As a lead team member, you will be responsible for executing the restaurant's menu, balancing creativity, seasonality, and guest preferences.

Maintain a consistent level of quality in food preparation, presentation, and taste. You will also supervise and mentor kitchen staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute the restaurant's menu with precision and creativity;
  • Supervise and mentor junior kitchen staff to develop their skills;
  • Ensure the kitchen adheres to all health and safety regulations;
  • Collaborate effectively with front-of-house staff and other departments;
  • Maintain high levels of productivity while minimising waste.

Requirements:

  • At least 2 years of experience in a similar role within a hotel operation or independent venue;
  • Proven experience motivating a diverse kitchen team in a fast-paced environment;
  • A strong focus on quality, cleanliness, and presentation;
  • Thorough knowledge of food safety regulations and kitchen hygiene practices;
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills;
  • Ability to remain calm and effective in a dynamic environment.
