Managing daily bookkeeping activities, including accounts payable and receivable, payroll processing, banking and cash flow management, reconciling third-party records, managing acquittals, end-of-month accruals and provisions, preparing financial statements, and collaborating with the finance team to ensure the accuracy and timeliness of financial information.
  2. Maintaining credit terms and conditions.

  4. Inputting budgets into MYOB, tracking expenses, and providing insights to facilitate cost-effective decision-making.
  5. Acting as MYOB Administrator, ensuring integrity in closing periods, making necessary adjustments, providing MYOB IT support, and safeguarding the integrity of the MYOB system and data management.
  6. Overseeing office operations, coordinating meetings, and offering administrative support to the General Manager and various departments.
  7. Assisting with HR-related functions, including compliance with leave and superannuation legislation, maintaining employee records, supporting recruitment initiatives, and onboarding new team members.
  8. Ensuring adherence to relevant regulations, tax obligations, and statutory filings.
  9. Identifying opportunities for process improvements and implementing best practices for enhanced operational efficiency.

Qualifications

To excel in this role, you should possess the following:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience as a skilled Bookkeeper, ideally at a senior level, with a strong background in managing financial records and generating reports.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in human resources.
  • Proficiency in MYOB AR and advanced skills in Excel and the MS Office suite.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking capabilities to effectively manage office operations, coupled with excellent time management skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in financial data management.
  • Knowledge of applicable accounting and tax regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • A degree or diploma in accounting, finance, or a related field is advantageous.
