About the Role

Talent International is seeking an experienced API Integration Specialist to join our client, a reputable Not-For-Profit organization, on a permanent basis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain API integrations to support various business processes and applications.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to understand integration requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Ensure the scalability, security, and reliability of API integrations.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve API integration issues in a timely manner.
  • Document integration processes and provide ongoing support and maintenance.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging technologies in API development and integration.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to the improvement of development processes.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in API development and integration, including API management platforms, with a strong understanding of RESTful and SOAP web services.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.
  • Experience with API management tools and platforms (e.g., Postman, Swagger, Apigee).
  • Strong understanding of data formats (JSON, XML) and data transformation techniques.
  • Knowledge of cloud services (AWS, Azure) and experience with cloud-based API integrations.
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
