Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Cabling Infrastructure Specialist to join our team. This role will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting telecommunications distributed cabling systems.

The successful candidate will possess strong level of data communications experience in the Commercial sector, as well as being fully conversant across all areas of communication cabling including; Cat 6, Cat 6a, Cat 7, fibre optics, multi-pair voice cabling and jumpering.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Possess and maintain an in-depth knowledge of testing copper and fibre structured cabling is a must.
  • Maintain a good understanding of carrier topologies especially ICON within the Canberra context.
  • Familiarity with industry standards in Forming, Dressing, Labelling and Patching of Copper/Fibre networks.
