We have multiple urgent requirements for experienced and talented security cleared Fibre Network Technicians in Canberra responsible for ICT network engineering and providing technical & professional advice.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement Maintenance and Installation network changes
  • Administer and maintain security procedures in line with the department's organisation policy
  • Investigate and resolve network problems
  • Design and propose solutions
  • Build and sustain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Requirements
  • Prior experience Government / Defence
  • ACMA Cabling licence, structured cabling
  • Fibre optic splicing & testing
  • Knowledge of, and compliance to legislative frameworks and Government / Defence mission and policy
  • Tertiary qualifications
  • Applicants must be Australian Citizens with an NV2 security clearance (NV1 holders may apply)
