We are seeking a dedicated and passionate teacher to join our team as a Head of Year. This is a permanent full-time teaching position with a load distribution of 0.6 FTE Teaching and 0.4 FTE Head of Year.
The successful applicant will be responsible for leading a team of teachers and supporting the academic and pastoral needs of students in Years 7 to 12. They will also be expected to teach secondary students in one of the Year 7 to 12 SCASA Learning areas.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading a team of teachers to deliver high-quality teaching and learning programs
- Providing pastoral care and support to students in Years 7 to 12
- Developing and implementing strategies to improve student outcomes and engagement
- Collaborating with other teachers and staff to achieve school goals
