Delivering exceptional healthcare to vulnerable populations requires a unique blend of compassion, expertise, and cultural sensitivity.
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team in providing high-quality care services to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.
The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting frontline nursing duties, contributing to comprehensive health support services, and promoting improved health outcomes for all community members.
Duties:- Provide quality nursing practice within an Aboriginal primary health care model of service
- Assist the medical/primary health care team and effectively coordinate own and team's workload to achieve results
- Understand the principles of primary health care and work with a wide variety of professionals and the public
- Effective communication skills - written, verbal and interpersonal to ensure quality medical documentation
- Vaccine and cold chain officer & infection prevention and control coordinator
- Demonstrated clinic experience and implement and support a comprehensive model of chronic disease care
- Competence in the use of clinical software systems and other technology, the internet and desktop applications e.g. word, spreadsheets and telehealth software
- Operate within clinical policy and procedures at all times
- Commit to ongoing continuous quality improvement processes with annual reviews into the efficiency of clinical service provision
- Cultivate productive working relationships at all levels, which support the nurturing of internal and external relationships, facilitates cooperation, trust and respect, values differences and diversity and guides, mentors and focuses on the development of staff
- Bachelor's degree in nursing or higher
- Full un-restricted AHPRA registration
- National Clearance Police Check
- Previous demonstrable experience in relevant nursing field
- Demonstrated ability to meet targets and performance outcomes
- Ability to support a continuous improvement model for achieving outcomes
- Decisive listening, influencing and persuasive skills

Benefits:- Base salary $82,732 to $100,655 per annum pro rata (Depending on Qualifications and experience)
- Additional 12% Superannuation + Access to salary packaging (Increases your take home pay)
