Diagnostic Imaging Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Diagnostic Imaging Specialist in Nuclear Medicine to provide high-quality diagnostic and consultative specialty services.
The primary purpose of the role is to undertake and report on clinical diagnostic PET-CT and general Nuclear Medicine studies, ensuring all Department Key Performance Indicators are met. This includes patient waiting times and report turnaround times.
A key aspect of this position is to maintain a high standard of professional performance and encourage an academic environment that supports education, research, and professional development.
To be successful in this role, you will have strong communication skills and be able to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
Key Requirements:
- Registered or eligible for specialist registration with AHPRA.
- Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP) or Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists (FRANZCR) with recognised qualifications in Nuclear Medicine.
- Preferably Fellowship of the Australasian Association of Nuclear Medicine Specialists.
Working with NSW Health requires compliance with the NSW Health Occupational Assessment, Screening & Vaccination against Specified Infectious Diseases Policy. Additionally, you must be able to abide by the Code of Conduct.
