Risk Assurance Professional

We are seeking a highly skilled Risk Assurance Professional to join our team, residing within the Retail Bank. This team drives sustainable enhancements to business practices and processes that deliver better outcomes for customers, shareholders, and the community.
This role aims to prevent, detect, and respond to issues, as well as embed and sustain the change we make into the business we support.
Responsibilities:- SUPPORT THE DESIGN AND IMPLEMENTATION OF AUTOMATED CONTROLS FOR BETTER RISK OUTCOMES.
- EFFECTIVELY DESIGN AUTOMATED CONTROLS FOR NEW AND CHANGING PROCESSES AND OPERATIONS.
- DESIGN, DEVELOP, AND EMBED A CONTINUOUS ASSURANCE MODEL.
- CONDUCT CONTROL ASSURANCE PROGRAM (CAP) TESTING, INCLUDING TEST SCRIPTS AND REPORTING ON ASSURANCE FINDINGS.
Risk assurance professionals require demonstrated experience in testing automated/application controls or IT general controls with a strong operational risk management background and knowledge of continuous control testing, benchmarking, and advanced analytical testing procedures.
They must also have experience using SQL, critical thinking, and data-driven insights to solve problems/achieve risk/outcome.
A strong understanding of software development lifecycle and implementation testing is required.
Influencing and consulting skills, ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
Ability to analyse/identify risks and opportunities and recommend actions.
Leadership capability to drive a positive, professional, and engaging team.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Advanced data analytics and programming skills are desirable.
