Job Title: Academic Lecturer in Exercise Science and Exercise Physiology

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Academic Lecturer in Exercise Science and Exercise Physiology to join our team at UNSW Australia. As a key member of our faculty, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and learning experiences to our students, as well as contributing to the development of our Exercise Science and Exercise Physiology programs.

Key Responsibilities:

* Deliver lectures and tutorials in Exercise Science and Exercise Physiology
* Develop and implement curriculum materials and assessments
* Provide academic support and guidance to students
* Contribute to the development of our Exercise Science and Exercise Physiology programs

Requirements:

* PhD in a related discipline (Exercise or Psychology/Behaviour Change)
* Demonstrated experience in sub-disciplinary areas of exercise behaviour change, and/or health or sport psychology
* Proven commitment to proactive maintenance of discipline knowledge and development
* Experience in teaching and learning design, development and delivery of courses (subjects) and programs (degrees), at undergraduate and/or postgraduate level
* Experience of implementing educational technologies and online delivery methods
* Demonstrated experience with industry and work-integrated learning
* Evidence of highly developed interpersonal and organisational skills
* Evidence of ability to support and inspire students from diverse backgrounds and support student equity diversity and inclusion initiatives
