The UNSW Medicine & Health Lifestyle Clinic operates as a functioning exercise physiology clinic and teaching facility where students deliver services to the community under the supervision of an Accredited Exercise Physiologist. Our focus is on supporting students develop their practical application of knowledge and optimising health outcomes for clients.
We are seeking a casual Accredited Exercise Physiologist for a clinical supervisory role. The position involves teaching/mentoring and supervision of exercise physiology student practicum placements, quality control, and conducting client consults if required.
The role includes:
- Supervising student Exercise Physiologists and their delivery of face-to-face or virtual exercise sessions.
- Assisting students in building their practical skillset.
- Oversight of general client-based work within the Lifestyle Clinic.
- Immediate role requirement is student supervision only, with potential for patient consultations and prevention services in the future.
- Saturday shifts at the clinic (7.30am – 1pm).
Required qualifications include ESSA accreditation as an AEP, current WWC check, and First Aid/CPR certification.
