Exercise Physiologist Clinical Supervisor

The University of New South Wales Medicine & Health Lifestyle operates as a functioning Exercise Physiology clinic and teaching facility. The Clinic provides student-led services to members of the community, prescribed by our clinicians and performed under strict supervision of an Accredited Exercise Physiologist.

We are seeking a Casual Accredited Exercise Physiologist for a clinical supervisory role with primary responsibilities in teaching/mentoring and supervision of all exercise physiology student practicum placements at the Clinic, quality control, and conducting client consults if required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervising student Exercise Physiologists delivering face-to-face or virtual exercise sessions
  • Assisting students in developing their practical skillset
  • Oversight of general client-based work within the Lifestyle Clinic
  • Immediate role requirement: Student supervision only. Long-term, there may be a requirement to conduct patient consultations and deliver primary and secondary prevention services
  • Saturday shifts at the clinic (7.30am - 1pm)

Credentials Required:

  • ESSA accreditation as an AEP
  • Current WWC check
  • First Aid/CPR certification
