Seeking a skilled Sewing and Pattern Making Instructor to lead our sewing classes.

We are looking for an experienced individual with strong leadership skills, a passion for sewing, and the ability to teach others in a fun and engaging way.

This role involves teaching, mentoring, and guiding students in various sewing techniques, as well as assisting with class management.

To be successful, you should have:

  • Able to work evening and weekend shifts
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to deliver clear instructions
  • Be highly organized with great time management skills
  • Always customer-focused, delivering a great learning experience
  • Ability to sew garments, read commercial patterns, draft your own patterns, and be a creative person

Prior teaching or instructional experience is beneficial but not essential, as full training will be provided. If you are a motivated individual who is passionate about sewing and enjoys working with people, we'd love to hear from you

Requirements:

  • Australian residency or equivalent
  • 3 years of sewing experience (preferable)

Growth Opportunities:

  • As you grow into the role, you will take over other creative classes and assist with class administration.
