The Southern NSW Hospital is seeking an ED Physician Leader to join their team. This hospital has a 24-hour emergency department with various services including day surgery, medical and surgical inpatient beds, maternity, paediatrics, critical care unit, operating theatres, renal dialysis, oncology, and a mental health unit.

Located between Sydney and Melbourne, the town has a rich Aboriginal history and offers a unique opportunity for doctors to gain valuable experience.

  • We are looking for doctors with extensive Australian ED experience (at least 3 years) involving in-charge and supervising roles.
  • Doctors with proven airway and paediatric resuscitation experience are also highly sought after.
  • Excellent references are essential, with a minimum requirement of 'very good' or higher.
  • The ideal candidate will be able to see at least 10 patients per shift, ideally 20 patients per shift when busy.
  • Experience working in remote Australia hospitals is also desirable.
