Healthcare Professional Opportunity: Enhancing Access to Specialist Aged Healthcare
As a Nurse Practitioner or Transitional Nurse Practitioner, you will play a pivotal role in addressing service gaps within Models of Care (MoC) for older persons.
The role offers a unique blend of clinical expertise and leadership skills, allowing you to make a meaningful impact on the lives of this vulnerable population.
Key responsibilities include enhancing access to healthcare by providing timely specialist aged care, preventing deterioration, reducing hospital presentations and admissions, and collaborating with other healthcare team members.
You will have the opportunity to develop your Scope of Practice (ScOP) into various areas, including Emergency and Acute Care, Mental Health, and Chronic and Complex Care.
For the Transitional Nurse Practitioner, a provisional period of up to 3 years is allocated to work towards endorsement as a Nurse Practitioner.
In addition to clinical responsibilities, you will also participate in professional development, enjoy fitness discounts, and experience a collaborative and flexible work environment.
