About The Role

We are seeking Registered Nurses to join our team in a Clinical Resource Unit setting at Lismore Base Hospital. We offer Permanent and Temporary Full Time and Part Time opportunities for applicants with pre-existing working rights in Australia.

  • You will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and contributing to a culture of safety and quality.
  • The successful applicant will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment.
  • Knowledge of Australian healthcare policies and procedures is essential, as well as experience working in a clinical resource unit or similar setting.

To be eligible for this role, you must be an Australian citizen or permanent resident, or be able to independently, legally live and work in Australia.

Key Responsibilities

As a Registered Nurse in the Clinical Resource Unit, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
  • Contributing to a culture of safety and quality within the hospital environment.
  • Working effectively in a dynamic environment, communicating complex information to patients, families, and healthcare teams.

In addition, you will require:

  • Knowledge of Australian healthcare policies and procedures.
  • Experience working in a clinical resource unit or similar setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
What You Need To Succeed

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA).
  • Relevant postgraduate qualifications or experience in a clinical resource unit setting.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with the ability to adapt to changing situations.

Preferred candidates will have:

  • Previous experience working in a clinical resource unit or similar setting.
  • Knowledge of Australian healthcare policies and procedures.
  • Skills in effective communication and interpersonal relationships.
