About the Role

The Victorian School Building Authority is seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to fill the position of Director, School Asset Management Support. This role will play a critical part in the effective management of school assets, ensuring that our schools are well-maintained and equipped to provide a high-quality education to students.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a branch of the Asset Management Division, ensuring exemplary leadership and people management. They will also be responsible for managing programs within budget, ensuring policy and program settings are right to achieve the organisation's objectives, and leading change processes where needed.

The Director will be responsible for leading the delivery of three key programs: the Small Schools Program, Asset Information Management System, and Technical Leadership Coaches. They will also be responsible for managing internal and external stakeholder relationships, particularly in relation to schools and other areas of the Department.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in asset management, leadership, and stakeholder engagement. They will be able to provide authoritative specialist advice and service support to the Executive Director, Ministers, the Deputy Secretary, and CEO of the VSBA.
