About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated individual to join our team as a Green Space Maintenance Professional. As a valued member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing green spaces across our council-controlled roadsides and open spaces.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working outdoors, takes pride in their work, and has a keen eye for detail. The role involves a variety of tasks including equipment maintenance, lawn care, and completing service requests.

  • Maintain equipment safely and efficiently to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
  • Ensure lawns and green spaces are maintained to a high standard, meeting the expectations of our community.
  • Complete service requests as required, responding promptly to customer inquiries and concerns.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and procedures at all times, prioritizing your own safety and the safety of others.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Previous experience in gardening, spraying, brush cutting, and zero-turn mowing.
  • A valid manual driver's license.
  • A white card (Construction Induction Card).
  • ACDC highly regarded.
  • The ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team and/or individually.
  • Punctuality and reliability.
  • A willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • A strong work ethic and commitment to completing tasks efficiently and to the highest standards.
