Housekeeping Role

The Australian National University is seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to fill the role of Housekeeping Team Member.

This position involves working as part of a close-knit team, with a focus on delivering exceptional service to our guests. The successful applicant will be required to work shifts from 9am – 3pm, across 7 days including weekends and public holidays. Availability during peak periods is essential.

  • Cleaning of rooms as per daily scheduling
  • Stocking of room attendant trolleys
  • Maintain chemical containers
  • Ensure cleanliness of storerooms and stock control
  • Making beds to meet required standard
  • Vacuuming of rooms and corridors and outside doorways
  • Cleaning of bathrooms and amenities
  • Dusting and cleaning of furniture, mirrors and glass areas
  • Disposal of waste
About You

We are looking for a skilled professional with excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently if required. A strong work ethic and reliability are essential for this role. Experience in a similar position is highly regarded but not essential.
