Job Title: Strategic Delivery Planning Expert

About the Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled production planning professional to join our team in Adelaide, South Australia. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for establishing and managing production planning processes.

The ideal candidate will have experience in heavy engineering industry, scheduling and production planning, with a strong understanding of quality control and configuration management.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Establishing the production planning function and resourcing the team
  • Leading the transition of UK submarines production planning system to Australia
  • Managing interfaces with project planning and leads to plan, allocate and reconcile scope, budget and materials
  • Developing production budgets based on business norms and reviewing overall project strategy
  • Defining standard best practices for production schedules and detail plans
About You

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Demonstrated experience in production, scheduling and production planning in heavy engineering industry
  • Understanding of quality control and configuration management
  • Strong self-management skills with ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Ability to balance conflicting priorities and deliver against customer and business requirements
