Lead Educator Opportunity

The YMCA Brisbane seeks an accomplished and visionary Leader to spearhead the development and implementation of a comprehensive educational program.

Main Responsibilities
  • Design, implement, and assess educational programs in conjunction with Assistant Coordinators/Coordinators, ensuring children's learning and development inform curriculum design.
  • Foster a culture of reflective practice among educators, promoting intentional teaching and effective program delivery.
  • Maintain strong relationships with parents, staff, and stakeholders through effective communication and liaison.
Requirements
  • Hold a Diploma in Children's Services or equivalent, with demonstrated experience in Early Childhood Education.
  • Proven track record in leading educational programs in an Early Childhood setting.
  • Possess a thorough understanding of approved learning frameworks and regulatory requirements.
  • Exemplary coaching and mentoring skills.
