Job Title:

Mechanical Fitter

Description:

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Fitter to join our team. The successful candidate will have trade qualifications and experience in rotating equipment, including steam turbines, axial, radial, reciprocating and screw compressors, pumps, gearboxes and gas turbines from various manufacturers.

Responsibilities:
  • Supporting workshop and operations teams in servicing, installing, repairing or maintaining rotating equipment.
  • Working under the supervision of the Workshop Manager or Operation Manager.
  • Inspecting and repairing valves, including testing and reporting.
  • Operating centre lathes, milling machines and other tools to produce parts and tools.
  • Providing technical services, ensuring compliance with specifications and quality standards.
Work Environment:

This is a workshop-based position that requires occasional travel to field locations within Australia.
