**Job Description:**

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Expert to join our team at Brunel, specializing in the Technical Services pillar of Woodside Energy - a Global Energy Company. This is a 2-year contract located at their cutting-edge offices.

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate experience in managing end-to-end tender processes, developing contracting plans, and conducting negotiations of commercial and contractual terms. They will possess a strong understanding of procurement ethics and be able to translate existing contracting and procurement skills to new categories.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead sourcing activities for Technical Services pillars globally, including Reserves & Subsurface, Technology and Innovation, Telecommunications, IT, Cyber, Digital / AI, and Capital Project technology requirements.
  • Engage with stakeholders to understand business needs and provide advice on contract strategies, sourcing options, and cost optimization.
  • Negotiate contract terms and conditions to achieve successful contract awards.
  • Provide reporting and analysis to support the ongoing development of the Technical Services category.
  • Assist across portfolios as needed, demonstrating flexibility and a proactive approach.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of procurement ethics and conduct sourcing activities professionally.

Requirements:

  • University degree in Business, Finance, or a related discipline, or relevant experience in Contracting and Sourcing.
  • Demonstrated experience in procuring technology-related products, services, and solutions, or the ability to adapt existing contracting and procurement skills to new categories.
  • Highly developed communication skills, with the ability to interact and influence at all levels within the organization.
  • A strong understanding of procurement ethics and a well-organized approach to prioritizing multiple activities and stakeholder groups.
  • A positive and proactive attitude, with the ability to collaborate with people from diverse cultural backgrounds and skill sets.
