Technical Resources is seeking a highly skilled Procurement and Contracts Coordinator to support the construction of iron ore projects.

About This Opportunity

This role will involve working closely with our team to ensure successful project delivery, while also assisting in the closeout of legacy projects.

The ideal candidate will have strong contracts advisor skills and experience supporting major development projects. They will be responsible for coordinating procurement activities, negotiating contracts, and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support Project Delivery: Assist the Contracts Manager in ensuring timely and within-budget project delivery.
  • Negotiate Contracts: Collaborate with vendors and stakeholders to negotiate fair and reasonable contract terms.
  • Coordinate Procurement Activities: Oversee the procurement process, including sourcing, bid evaluation, and contract administration.
  • Ensure Compliance: Ensure that all contracts and procurement activities comply with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
What You'll Need to Succeed
  • Strong Contracts Advisor Skills: Proven experience in contracts advisory roles, preferably in the mining industry.
  • Project Coordination: Ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines.
  • Negotiation and Communication: Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with vendors and stakeholders.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Strong understanding of relevant laws, regulations, and company policies, with the ability to identify and mitigate risks.
Working with Us

We offer a competitive salary of $90,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus additional benefits and opportunities for professional growth and development.
