Looking for a challenging role in material procurement?
About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Material Procurement Expert to join our team and contribute to the successful delivery of a major construction project. Based in Perth CBD, you will be responsible for managing the procurement of various materials, equipment, and services.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in complex procurement within the engineering, construction, energy, chemical, or resources sectors.
Job DescriptionAs a Material Procurement Expert, your key responsibilities will include:
- Managing procurement strategies and implementation
- Issuing tender packages, evaluating submissions, negotiating terms, and recommending awards
- Drafting contracts and ensuring documentation compliance
- Working with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery
You will also be expected to develop and implement strategies, negotiate terms, and influence outcomes, as well as communicate effectively with stakeholders.
RequirementsTo succeed in this role, you will need:
- Relevant procurement experience on major EPCM/EPC projects
- Strong skills in developing strategies, negotiating terms, and influencing outcomes
- Clear and persuasive communication skills with strong influencing abilities
- Self-driven, proactive approach with the ability to set priorities
- Experience with Aveva ERM, Requis, Aconex; SAP (S4) and JIRA beneficial

Salary EstimateBased on industry standards and location, we estimate the salary for this role to be around $80,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience.
