Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Heavy Machinery Operator to join our team as a Grading Specialist. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience operating excavators and other heavy machinery, with a strong focus on grading and finishing tasks.

About the Role
  • Operate heavy machinery efficiently and safely, with a primary focus on grading and final trim work.
  • Execute grading, leveling, and finishing tasks to meet project specifications and standards.
  • Read and interpret site plans, blueprints, and grading specifications.
  • Conduct pre-operational checks and routine maintenance of equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Collaborate with site supervisors, engineers, and other team members to achieve project milestones.
  • Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe working environment.
Key Qualifications
  • Proven experience as a heavy machinery operator with significant grading expertise.
  • Proficient in operating excavators and other related heavy machinery.
  • Strong understanding of grading, leveling, and earthmoving techniques.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction plans and blueprints.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Relevant certifications and licenses (e.g., Heavy Machinery Operator License).
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
