Facilities Team Leader Role

We're seeking a skilled Facilities Team Leader to join our team at Raging Waters Sydney. As part of this role, you'll be responsible for supporting and guiding seasonal team members across various departments.

This is a hands-on leadership position that requires someone who leads by example, takes pride in quality and safety, and genuinely cares for the wellbeing and development of their team. Previous experience in maintenance, operations, or technical environments is essential, with site-specific training provided to build familiarity with park systems.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Lead inspections, maintenance, water quality checks, and cleaning duties.
  • Assign daily tasks and follow up on completion to ensure work is carried out to standard and on schedule.
  • Act as the first point of contact for team support, mentoring, and coaching, especially new or seasonal staff.
  • Monitor team morale and report concerns to the relevant personnel.
  • Support facilities operations by responding to maintenance requests, conducting spot checks, and helping with park infrastructure tasks.
  • Ensure accurate completion of inspection forms, water testing records, work orders, and digital logs.
Workplace Health & Safety Expectations:
  • Follow and comply with Work Health Safety policies, procedures, and guidelines.
  • Ensure correct use of all safety equipment by team members.
  • Demonstrate safe work behaviours and lead by example.
  • Report WHS incidents, injuries, or near misses immediately.
Requirements:

Essential:

  • Water Quality or Pool Operations Training
  • White card
  • Confined space training
  • Working at Heights training
  • Manual Handling Training
  • Forklift licence
  • Manual Drivers Licence
