About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our Tourism function and drive the growth of our Visitor Economy. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to promote our region as a vibrant and attractive destination for visitors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement destination marketing strategies to attract visitors and grow the local economy
  • Lead the development and management of events and experiences that showcase our region's unique heritage and culture
  • Manage the operations of our Visitor Information Centre and provide exceptional customer service to visitors
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and develop new business opportunities and partnerships
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of our tourism initiatives and make recommendations for improvement

  • A competitive annual salary of $105,877 with progression up to $119,151 dependent upon skills and experience
