We are seeking an experienced Transport Operations Manager to oversee our critical logistics operations out of Brisbane Airport.

This role will see you playing a key part in ensuring the efficient and effective movement of goods across our national transport network.

You will be responsible for the end-to-end management of our transport activities, continuously improving processes, and delivering exceptional service to our valued customers.

  • Manage a team of transport coordinators and drivers to ensure the timely and cost-effective dispatch and delivery of freight
  • Oversee the planning, scheduling and optimisation of transport routes and resources to meet KPIs
  • Monitor and report on transport metrics to drive continuous improvement
  • Ensure all transport operations are compliant with relevant regulations and safety standards
  • Liaise with customers to understand their needs and develop tailored transport solutions

About You

  • Extensive experience in a senior transport or logistics management role, ideally within the freight industry
  • Excellent knowledge of transport planning, scheduling and operations management
  • Strong commercial acumen and a customer-centric mindset
  • Outstanding communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Proficient in the use of transport management systems and data analysis tools
