This role involves leading fraud prevention efforts to safeguard the organization and its customers from fraudulent activities.
The ideal candidate will leverage data analytics, fraud detection tools, and industry best practices to develop and implement effective fraud prevention strategies.
- Manage fraud and financial crimes control function across the organization to support business growth strategies;
- Develop event playbooks to drive decision making and enable portfolio performance insight under different scenarios;
- Lead efforts to prevent and detect fraud across our lending platform, protecting customers and company from risk;
- Monitor and analyze transaction patterns to detect potential fraudulent activities;
- Oversee real-time fraud monitoring systems and respond timely to alerts;
- Investigate fraud incidents, taking decisive action to mitigate losses and supporting recovery efforts;
- Collaborate with cybersecurity and IT teams to mitigate digital fraud threats;
- Serve as a liaison with regulators, law enforcement agencies, and fraud prevention networks;
- Leverage fraud detection tools and AI-based risk assessment models to improve real-time decisioning;
- Optimize transaction monitoring systems and fraud prevention frameworks;
- Use data analytics to identify emerging fraud trends and develop countermeasures;
Mentor team members to balance risk and return for both Fraud and Credit Risk functions.
