We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Nurse to join our team at Bongaree, Woorim and Banksia Beach clinics. As a General Practice Nurse, you will provide high-quality nursing care to patients, administer injections, wound dressings and other clinical procedures.

About the Role:
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records in line with medical practice and regulatory requirements
  • Collaborating with our team of general practitioners to deliver comprehensive and personalised patient care
  • Contributing to the development and implementation of practice policies and procedures
  • Actively participating in professional development opportunities to enhance your nursing skills and knowledge

Key Responsibilities:

  • Wound management
  • Vaccinations - Adult & Children
  • Handling Emergencies & Triage
  • Procedures including Venesection's and Biopsies
  • ECG and Spirometry
  • Ear Syringing
  • Sterilisation of instruments
  • Health Management including health assessment's
  • Preparing kits/trolley's for minor surgical procedures
  • COVID / Flu Vaccination Clinics
  • Inventory and Stock Management

Position Requirements:

  • A current AHPRA registration is essential
  • Previous practice nurse experience in a GP practice is preferred but not essential
  • A good working knowledge of Windows, MS Office
  • Experience with Best Practice and previous accreditation experience will be an advantage
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • High level interpersonal skills to relate well to patients, staff and healthcare professionals
  • Able to commit to required hours, including after hours
