A Lead Contract Specialist opportunity exists within our organization, offering a chance to make a difference in retirement living.
About the Role
This position involves leading parts of the Contract Services team and managing legal, financial, and documentation processes for residents entering and leaving villages.
The successful candidate will lead contract management, process improvement, and stakeholder engagement ensuring a seamless experience for our residents.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of Contract Specialists ensuring high-quality contract execution and compliance.
- Manage legal, financial, and paperwork requirements related to resident transitions in and out of our villages.
- Utilise digital signing, contract processing, and expedited processes.
- Review and prepare settlements, exit entitlements, and legal documentation ensuring accuracy and adherence to relevant legislation.
- Prioritise and delegate tasks effectively to maintain workflow efficiency.
- Work closely with Village Managers, sales teams, and legal stakeholders to support resident transactions.
- Perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment while ensuring exceptional customer outcomes.
- Drive continuous improvement in Contract Services identifying efficiencies and risk mitigation strategies.
- Adapt to changing business needs and regulatory requirements demonstrating agility and readiness for change.
Requirements
- A background in conveyancing, law, or legal administration experience working in a law firm is highly desirable.
- Experience using PEXA and DocuSign for digital contract and settlement processing.
- Proven people management skills with experience leading and mentoring a team.
- Ability to prioritise and delegate tasks effectively while maintaining a high standard of accuracy.
- Attention to detail and strong analytical skills to manage complex contract and financial processes.
- Specific experience in retirement village conveyancing or legal administration is highly desirable.
- Resilience under pressure with the ability to meet deadlines and handle competing priorities.
- A customer-centric approach ensuring a positive experience for residents and their families.
- A commitment to innovation and continuous improvement in contract management processes.
