**Job Description**

The Senior Manager Contract Compliance will adopt a proactive approach to lead the contract and commercial management function of the tram contract.

Key responsibilities include leading the management of all assurance, performance and reporting obligations for passenger experience and performance, operations, franchise payments and the activation of all reform areas contained in the tram contract.

This includes ensuring that franchise payments and operator contracts are managed effectively through appropriate work processes and procedures.

Additionally, the Senior Manager will develop strategies for the contract and commercial functions of the tram contract, focusing on risk mitigation strategies to ensure compliance with contract management plans and frameworks.

Responsibilities also include managing the financial assurance and performance obligations of the contract, which includes handling escrow accounts and developing performance data and metrics for detailed franchise performance reporting.

The role oversees assurance audits, budget and escrow management, and supports financial bids aimed at the sustainability and modernisation of tram assets.
